Dr. Brooksher Achieves Accreditation Status

In May 2008, Dr. Brooksher was awarded accreditation in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He was recognized for this honor at the AACD’s 24th annual scientific session held in New Orleans.
The mission of the AACD is to advance the art and science of cosmetic dentistry and to encourage the highest standards of ethical conduct and responsible patient care.
To achieve accreditation status, a dentist must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the principles of cosmetic dentistry by completing a three-part process consisting of a written and oral examinations and submission of clinical cases for evaluation. In addition, attendance at a specified series of workshops is required.
Dr. Brooksher Wins AACD Awards

Dr. Brooksher won two awards in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s Seventh Annual Smile Gallery competition, held in Boston, Massachusetts. He won the award for Indirect Anterior or Posterior Esthetics, one of the six categories of the competition based upon technical skill in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Brooksher also won the AACD’s People’s Choice Gold Medal. The winner of this award was chosen by vote of the cosmetic dentists who visited the gallery.
Founded in 1984, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry is the largest international dental organization dedicated specifically to the art and science of cosmetic dentistry.
