My dentist prepared my upper arch for four crowns on molar teeth and veneers for the rest of my upper teeth. I’m wearing temporary crowns and veneers that look natural. However, I’ve had jaw pain since getting them. Although my dentist recommended Advil, I can’t tolerate the discomfort without it. My cheeks feel numb toward the back where the temporary crowns are. Is this an adjustment period, or should I ask an interim dentist to check my bite? My dentist is on extended vacation through mid-January. Thanks. Ishmael from MI
